When did “Like A Girl” become an insult? This statement has come to represent women as being weak, lacking power and timid. We are going to take back “Like A Girl”! Especially for NAWIC women, “Like A Girl” should represent strength, power and tenacity!
Our theme for Forum is #LeadLikeAGirl. Our focus will be on providing various tools on developing leadership traits in all facets of your position at your workplace. No matter what your role, you ARE a leader at your job!
From leadership development, to leading in the area of workplace mental health, safety, and disaster preparedness our speakers will take attendees through workshops to discuss and develop these areas.
