Please join us for our monthly chapter meetings. All are welcome. This month we will be featuring:  Speaker - Dennise Kowalczyk, Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. and our Regional APC Reports.

About our speaker: Dennise M. Kowalczyk, Development Director, has successfully led a variety of community media organizations in several leadership roles ranging from volunteer to staff positions.  Her 20 years of experience in fundraising and relationship management practices has resulted in raising many thousands of dollars via individual giving and major donor programs, special events and strategic partnership work.

About Oregon Tradeswomen: Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc., (OTI) is dedicated to promoting success for women in the trades through education, leadership and mentorship. Founded in 1989 as a small support group led by four tradeswomen (an elevator constructor, two carpenters and an operating engineer), OTI was reorganized as Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, in 1999. OTI was founded on the principles that women deserve and can attain economic self-sufficiency through pursuing careers in the building, mechanical, electrical, and utility trades while helping and encouraging the trades industry build up a diverse workforce. The organization also just launched a new program, Women in Metals & Manufacturing that is funded by Bank of America through their Neighborhood Builders award.
